Endocrinologist
Dr Caroline Jung graduated from the University of Melbourne with Honours in 1999. She completed specialist physician training in Endocrinology in 2006. Her PhD (University of Melbourne 2011) evaluated the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis during pregnancy and in people with obesity, diabetes, Cushing’s syndrome and adrenal insufficiency. She has presented her research at national and international conferences, for which she has received numerous awards, including Bryan Hudson-Mayne Pharma Clinical Endocrinology Award from the Endocrine Society of Australia.
Dr Jung works at the Pituitary, Diabetes and Metabolic Bone clinic at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, and the Menopause clinic at the Royal Women’s Hospital, as well as in private practice. She is a lecturer for the University of Melbourne and teaches medical students.
